Learning zone

Our learning zone is a state-of-the-art classroom where you’ll take part in our exciting presenter-led activities.

We’ve got lots of amazing equipment that we use to deliver our activities and science shows including a 3D projector and 3D printer

Interactive zone

Our interactive zone is packed with exciting exhibits to encourage visitors to touch, explore and learn about the basic principles of science involved in many of Airbus Defence & Space’s inspiring projects.

The interactive zone is where young minds learn through play about space, forces and magnetism, materials and energy – including light, sound and electricity.

As well as providing a great learning opportunity, our exhibits encourage teamwork and develop problem solving and communication skills.

Industry zone

In our industry zone you’ll discover everything you’ve ever wanted to know about a career in science, technology, engineering and maths.

From our viewing gallery you can see the Mars Yard – where Airbus scientists and engineers are busy putting the next Mars Rover through its paces as part of the ExoMars Programme.

The European Space Agency’s ExoMars Programme aims to determine whether life has ever existed on Mars. The rover in development by Airbus will carry a drill and a suite of instruments dedicated to exobiology and geochemistry research.

Make sure you check in advance to ensure you’ll be able to access the Mars Rover Viewing Gallery. Occasionally Airbus will be performing their Mars Rover tests behind closed doors.
